Powertrain Features
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that simulates 10 gears through sequential “shiftmatic” steps, has a Sport mode, and can be equipped with paddle shifters.
This drivetrain is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined fuel efficiency and sends 169 hp to the front wheels. There is no longer a 6-speed manual transmission available.

Comfort Features
The trunk of the Corolla sedan is rather small, but the hatchback version has more room and takes up less parking space. When the rear seats are folded down, it expands to a maximum cargo capacity of 17.8 cubic feet.
Cargo capacity is enormous even with the seats in their upright position. A large plastic water bottle will fit in the door pockets, but an insulated water bottle will not. Even my average frame had enough legroom to travel in the backseat with ease.
