The Crown’s elevated driving position, resembling that of a compact SUV, may make it a more appealing option than full-size sedans that stick to the tried-and-true sedan formula. In order to produce 340 horsepower, the 2023 Crown Platinum’s exclusive Hybrid Max powertrain combines a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder with an electric motor mounted on the rear axle.
The Crown’s unusual exterior design is matched by an equally unusual but luxurious interior. All Crown models come standard with an abundance of safety and entertainment features from Toyota.
All trim levels feature heated front seats, automatic climate control, and ambient lighting as standard equipment. Leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, and a panoramic sunroof are available on the Limited and Platinum models.
