It’s fair to say that the Toyota Prius is about as exciting as washing the dishes. While it has always been fuel efficient, the actual driving experience has been less than thrilling. The total system output has increased significantly from the previous model’s 121 hp to the current level of 194 hp. The AWD extension provided by the rear motor is fully functional at all speeds. Since the new platform is stiffer, it provides a stable foundation for the vehicle’s front strut and rear multilink suspensions.
There are just 2 trims available for the 2023 Prius Hybrid. The XLE, features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity, a power driver’s seat, an 8-inch touchscreen, and SofTex upholstery. The plug-in version is also available with this brand new redesign.
